My ideas for my art are developed through my memory and feelings about mortality. I make works with references to nature to be interpreted by the viewer so that a connection can be transmitted. I want my artwork to relate positive feelings and to be understood as a celebration of life. I feel a personal responsibility to “making memory last”, mostly because I am a child of Holocaust survivors. I am interested in mortality because it is also a time elapsed element, which I allude to through the movement within my work. I invite the viewer to join me in understanding and accepting the cycle of our lives through the landscapes of my mind.
